The following briefly describe the amenities that await visitors to Stone Mountain Lodge and Cabins. Click through to each amenity for more pictures and detailed info.
The Pond
The private pond is home to our ducks, and provides a picturesque setting for a walk, picnic, fishing, or sipping a glass of wine on a bench.
The ducks are friendly and love to be fed. When no events are taking place at the Pond, fishing is allowed without a fishing license.
The Outdoor Heated Pool
The Outdoor Heated Swimming Pool at Stone Mountain is a great place to relax and take in the surrounding mountains and cliffs.
It is generally open during office hours from just before Memorial Day to just after Labor Day. If the weather is exceptionally nice, we try to open it earlier in the season and keep it open longer. Pool towels are provided to our guests.
There are lounge chairs by the pool, a grill and picnic tables under a tent to provide shelter from the sun or passing shower.
The Mountain and Trail
Our mountain, which we call Stone Mountain, rises up about 800 feet in altitude from the Lodge, Cabins, and Pond, to the top of The Red Cliffs.
Our 45 acre property includes a portion of the red cliffs, and a lot of interesting terrain below them.
Surrounding our 45 acres are several hundred acres of public open space property. We encourage you to take the short hike up the Stone Mountain Trail.
The N. St Vrain River
The North Saint Vrain River is just across the road from Stone Mountain Lodge. This part of the river is just beyond where it exits the canyon and levels out meandering through Apple Valley, before it goes through the town of Lyons.
You can enjoy fishing, tubing or just wading in the water on a hot day. Fishing the Saint Vrain River does require a Colorado fishing license.
Wireless Internet
Stone Mountain Lodge and Cabins offers free high speed Wireless Internet (Wi-Fi) access for our guests.
All guest rooms, cabins, and all outdoor areas on the lower part of the property, including the Pool, Garden Area, and Wedding and Events Areas, are all within range of a good wireless internet signal. Areas around the Pond, and even the picnic table up on the Stone Mountain Trail receive good signals from our free wireless hotspot.
