Facilities for Groups
We want Your Group to simply have the best time possible! And the Stone Mountain Lodge property has lots of room for your group to make themselves at home. We encourage event planners to arrange for a tour of the property to see how we might best meet your group’s specific needs.
Group Lodging Overview
Stone Mountain Lodge has 6 cabin units and 15 lodge rooms that can accommodate about 76 persons at maximum occupancy. Depending on the sleeping requirements of each family unit this will vary for your group.

Gathering Areas on the Property
There are a number of places on the property where your group can gather. You can barbeque by the Pool or Garden Area. Why not stage a movie night, a scrapbooking retreat or a photo exchange at the Reception tent. And, the Arbor Area by the Pond is a fun place for throwing frisbies or enjoying other games. Practical Limits of the Property
For Lodging, Stone Mountain Lodge can sleep between 38 and 76 people depending on how many need their own bed. 3 tent camp-sites are also available for groups that reserve all 21 lodging units under our Lodging Exclusivity Package. For events in the Garden Area, there is a practical limit of about 50 persons seated, or 100 persons standing. The Pool Area is comfortable for about 30. The Reception Tent can accommodate up to 160 guests seated
Optional Group Supplies and Services
The following items and services may be provided if reserved in advance:
- Use of refrigerator and storage room – $25/day
- Coffee Maker (60 cups) – $20/day
- Chafing dishes – $15 each/day (up to three)
- Continental Breakfast – $10/person ($75 minimum)
Continental Breakfast can be provided at the Pool or Garden Area. It includes coffee, tea, hot cocoa, juice or fruit, pastries and breads.
Outside Guests
If you or your group will have a number of visitors join you at the Garden Area or the Pool, we must know in advance. The cost is $3 per extra person for the Garden Area or Pool, and $5 per extra person for the use of both. Also see Group Policies if alcohol will be served.
Group Events without Lodging
The Garden Area may be rented Monday through Thursday for a specific event without lodging. A reservation is needed with full payment. The fee is $500 for a 5 hour block of time. It is $600 if the pool will also be used. Pool towels are supplied. The Event Restrooms are available for changing. Please call regarding availability and your specific needs.
