The “Peak to Peak Highway” is a great scenic day trip from Stone Mountain Lodge.You can make a loop through Estes Park, or Nederland and Boulder. Or, head south through Black Hawk and come out of the mountains in Golden, Colorado, the home of Coors beer. There is so much to explore!

Nederland is a small, laid back  mountain town. Eldora Ski area is our local ski area. It’s not a big resort like Vail or Aspen. That’s what makes it nice.

Central City and Black Hawk are old Colorado mining towns that now feature gambling. It’s a fascinating area to see.
