The Stone Mountain TopologyStone Mountain Lodge is just in the mountains at about 5,510 feet. The town of Lyons and Boulder are at about 5,350 feet and Denver is 5,280 feet (1 mile high). Higher in the foothills is Estes Park at 7,510 feet. Rocky Mountain National Park ranges from about 8,000 to 14,000 feet. The elevation of the Stone Mountain Lodge property starts at about 5,500 feet and is about 6,160 feet at the top. Most of the elevation gain is due to the towering red cliffs at the back of the property.
