An elegant picnic? This reception is a great example of simplicity and creativity. The food was cooked by a caterer on a large commercial barbeque outside the tent and served as a buffet inside. It's amazing how even hamburgers and barbeque chicken could be perfect for a tented wedding reception. Linen tablecloths, even for a picnic, add so much to the atmosphere. Linens have an additional advantage for outdoor affairs, since they don't move with a breeze.
