“Once again what a wonderful stay my husband and I had at your beautiful Stone Mountain Lodge. Our weekly stay has become an annual tradition when we visit family in your area. What a perfect place for us, with your own dog friendly private hiking trail, perfect temperature lap and lounging swimming pool, Japanese garden surrounding the happy duck filled pond (if you get in good with the owner you might get a canoe trip around the fountain!) and the lovely and private barbecue and outdoor dinning area’s just perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine at sunset (and what gorgeous sunsets on that mountain).

The room we always request is cozy and comfy complete with kitchenette (which gets a lot of use with us vegan’s), wi-fi, cable and lot’s of sunshine. We understand that there are also cabins with Jacuzzi tubs, which sound just wonderful for a romantic get-a-way. Just as we were checking out the office manager was on her way to pick up goods for the romantic get-a-way package-roses, chocolates and champagne, no wonder so many couples pick this beautiful spot for their wedding!

SML would be wonderful just as a destination vacation, but with it’s proximity to Estes Park, Boulder and only minutes from downtown historic Lyons with it’s own brewery, live music, cafe’s, restaurants and the kayaking on the St Vrain maybe it is a piece of heaven on earth.
